We know that it can be intimidating coming to a new church and that building relationships take time.  We have found the following steps helpful in becoming a part of our church community:

1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF AT OUR SUNDAY MORNING SERVICES

We currently offer one service at 10am where you can join us for a time of worship, bible teaching, & prayer.  We would love to get to meet you and give you a small gift for joining us!  Just fill out a connect card and drop it off at our Connect Desk after the service.  This will give us a chance to meet you as well as give you information about our church and how you can get connected. Dress is casual and the service lasts for about an hour.

2. JOIN OUR DISCOVERY CLASS

A few times a year we host a 4-week class for our newcomers.  The class takes place after our 10am Sunday morning service.  You will have an opportunity to hear one another’s stories, Emmanuel’s story, and learn about next steps towards connecting at the church.

Sign-up for more information on when the next class will be starting up.

3. BE A PART OF A LIFE GROUP

We think that one of the best ways to be part of a community, find friendship, and grow in your relationship with God is through being a part of a life group.  Life groups typically meet in a home, but there are also other types of groups that may meet in the church.  You can discover and sign up to some of the different groups that are open here, or chat with one of our staff for the most recent list of groups.   Click here to find out more about the options available for our Life Groups.

4.  SERVE IN A MINISTRY

We want everyone to have an opportunity to serve through using their giftings and passions to make a difference in the lives of others.  Click here to find out where you might be able to get involved in helping others.

5. FIND A MENTOR

We think a great way to grow in your relationship with God can happen in a mentorship relationship.  We can match you up with one of our mentors, who will walk alongside you and guide and support you in your spiritual journey in a confidential manner.  Where you will meet and how long can be decided together.  You might want to find a friend or family member to join you.
