Adam Niewenhout

Adam was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. After becoming a Red Seal Electrician, he was called by God to go to Vanguard College. Adam graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology in 2022 and immediately got a job at the church he was attending. Then, in 2025, Adam felt God’s call again (and permission) to move to British Columbia, a longstanding desire of his. In early 2026, Adam began his role as Family Ministries Pastor at Emmanuel Church. He loves teaching and sharing the beauty of the Bible with kids. 

Adam married Liz in 2019, and they have two children together. Mountain biking is by far Adam’s favourite hobby, but he also enjoys skiing, running, reading, and gaming.
