Ideas are thoughts or suggestions of a course of action. A really good idea can shape entire cultures. However, ideas can also threaten cultures, especially if long held beliefs are called into question. In Acts 14, the Apostle Paul dealt directly with different cultures conflicting over a powerful idea, helping us deal with the question, "What happens when cultures bite back?"
